My name is Kelly Price, and I am a 2nd grade teacher! I got my start in education back in 2003 by substituting. I didn't have a clue of what I was doing, yet I loved all the children and quickly fell into place and fell in love! I've taught all grade levels, and I have to say, in the very beginning, my fave was kindergarten. Yet, I landed in 2nd grade and realized just how much fun and awesome this age group can be, too, and I'd happy to never leave! 

I am engaged to my best friend, Joey. He is my biggest fan and supporter. He's the greatest blessing in my life. I have four pets, yes, FOUR pets. That's a lot. My two cats are brother and sister, their names are Lilah and Liam, and I have two dogs as well, Sadie and Rusty. They love treats and keep me hopping at all of their requests. In my spare time, I love to kayak. In the summer, you'll catch me on the Mulberry River in Ozark, Arkansas. 

One thing I'd like to share with you is that when I was in school, elementary school, I won spelling bees. Spelling came naturally for me, but what didn't come so natural was math. Everyone of us is talented, different talents, keep striving to do your best, it is in you! YOU can do it!
